I've always wondered that too. There was this one guy in our pep band a few years back and he'd be wearing shorts, a t-shirt, and gloves when everybody else was all bundled up.
Some people run hot. So even in cold temperatures they're able to be comfortable. 98.6 is only an average. I'm cold even in the summer, but my average is 96.8 where as my ex always wore shorts and ran at about 100.

My average is 96.8 too (my sister and dad run low as well, might be genetic). It kinda sucks though when I feel feverish and my temp is just past the "normal" average, it's not taken as seriously.
