I use this kind of joke on my kids all the time... I haven't made my day till I've heard them groan. I'm a mum.

In fact, I've started calling them Coral. Their faces look just like his.

My dad also likes to drive past a graveyard and ask us 'that's a really great place isn't it? you want to know why? and he would wait a minute, whilst we all sit quietly shaking our heads before saying, 'because people are dying to get in there!' and no one would laugh unless it was the very first time they heard it and even then its only a small chuckle...
