I own all 13 LBT movies as well as 5 out of the 6 TV episode DVDs and I can confirm that in the special features Littlefoot is always listed as an Apatosaurus, so there is no reason why he and his kind should be cast off like that. VIVA LA SEPARACION DE CUELLOS-LARGOS!
