I read it was abandoned in the early '20s...

if you're talking about C.C, it's an old mining place that was abandoned because of mining laws ( I think ). Anyway, I live like ten minutes from it and its out in the woods. It's also covered in graffiti, but not even drug dealers go there bc ppl say its haunted. I was there by myself in one of the concrete houses and I heard some weird noises, like feet on the floor. TOo heavy to be a squirrel, MAYBE a raccoon or a really fat skunk. I also heard something out the woods, and I'm a hunter so I know the sounds of animals and I knew it was a bear. I was extremely creeped out xD.
