Sorry, guest is right. South African Rock Python. Definitely a bogus story about missing sheep. The snake was in process of digesting an impala and couldn't fit under the fence.

One guest was being a dick, this one isn't. I was fairly skeptical about the "Strayan" cred, because i'm not sure if they have snakes that big and fat, and Australian snakes have a repute for being very venomous. He's not insulting anyone, he's giving his take and backing it up with sources.
Constrictors suffocate their prey by coiling around it and crushing it with their bodies. Constrictors can also swallow prey of large size, the South African Rock Python can eat an antelope easy.
