I've been here! It's a different perspective from what you read about in books. They often give the impression that everything was destroyed and it's all just ashes, but there's a lot of stuff that's still mostly intact!

I've been as well. I feel like Pompeii is something you really need to experience in person. It so huge. I spent all day there, and only saw about 1/3 of the entire city. You see so much about how the people had once lived their life, and it put everything into perspective, because to them, it was just a normal day. Anything like that could happen to us.
