I have a friend with cystic fibrisis, her imune system is so weak the vaccionation itself could kill her. If not for your own children, vaccinate for those who can't. Vaccinating your kids for even a non-life threatning disease could save another child's life.
I am 100% for vaccines. However, most kids gets chicken pox and are ok. I had them when I was only a few months old.
This looks like an insane case. If anyone knows more I'm curious as to what's going on. It seems like the child received no treatment so it just kept getting worse. I apologize if that isn't what's happening but how could they get that bad?! I've never seen anything like that before
Yeah but they actually vaccinate against the chickenpox nowadays. My husband didn't get the vaccination, because we didn't get it back in the day, so it was one of those play with your friends when they had it so you'd get it. Well unfortunately, he never did, so chickenpox to an adult is shit. It can actually be deadly to adults and babies.
I've just never seen it so bad in a kid before. I was only about 10 weeks when I had it and from the videos (because my parents recorded everything) I guess I had a mild case. I know it's much worse as an adult. And I am completely on board with the vaccine. My cousin got vaccinated but managed to get chicken pox anyway but it was on his chest and back and was minor. The doctor said it probably would have been much worse without the vaccine
VACCINES DON'T STOP YOU GETTING THE VIRUS. THEY GIVE YOU THE ANTIBODIES TO FIGHT IT OFF. YOU STILL GET THE SICKNESS. THE BABY WOULD OF STILL GOTTEN IT!
They would have "gotten it", yes, but with the vaccine they would have had little to no symptoms of the disease. That's the whole point. You get vaccinated so your body knows what to do when it gets infected with the wild viruses.
