Washing it was an absolute nightmare. Think getting trapping in a thick wet spiderweb. I eventually cut it off when I was 6 months pregnant because no way was I letting a baby near it.

Except when I do it, I wear a normal sized bandana and wear it like a headband, with the tie underneath my hair. Also I can't find a picture showing what I mean because I am apparently the only person who has ever thought to wear her hair like this.

After reading @celticrose 's comment, i imagined a baby climbing in hella lot of hair and then crying in thin annoying kinda baby noise and then gasping for breath.
I've finally been able to start growing out my hair (mother wouldn't let me until i finally turned 18, because y'know it's apparently evil for males to have longer hair) and i hate it. I'm still going to have it long, but now I'm always a ball of floof due to my family having genes for maximum curly hair. For those of you ladies who say you wished you had my curls, you don't. I could write a pamphlet of cons of curly hair.
So, despite the fact that you hate it you are keeping it? Is this just so your mom can't say I told you so?

No, I'm not growing it out to spite my mother, I've always wanted to have longer hair. Luckily my hairs reaching the point where it is going from poof ball to actually being down.
