Who decided these were a good idea

How do you possibly do that with a MUSICAL movie? But in contrast a proper novelization of a good movie is great, I read them all the time.

They're not common but ones that aren't based off children's movies (which seems to be the majority) are usually not half bad. I enjoyed the novelization of pacific rim

Idk what you're talking about- those books carried me through elementary school when my dreams of being in an actual musical failed.
