calling bullshit. do people even actually see these kids with this shit? Sure there are some stupid kids on laptops but I've never seen any kids with an actual iPhone that is proportional to the amount of posts with that punchline on the internet.

Not really. To be fair, for me it was trading card/fantasy games, but once my freinds discovered them, it was pretty much impossible to play physical games again.
Yeah, yeah, and the generation before you would have been happy for something else instead of some fancy pen. Grow up, times are changing. Just because you didn't have amazing technology, doesn't mean your childhood was better.
Yeah I'm getting pretty sick of these posts like not all kids have phones and shit and trust me if nine year old you was given an iPhone you probably wouldnt have said no to it
Especially because when we have the Internet and even things that seem basic like TV now and yet we take that for granted just because One idiot parent bought their 10 year old an iPhone 3G.
I don't see these posts as complaining, I see them as posters becoming aware that things forever change and their experiences may never happen again. It's bittersweet, not salty.
Kids of any generation would have loved getting a phone, kids haven't changed. It's the parents that choose to buy them or not.. And which generation is that?? I don't know many kids personally with fancy phones but of course there are some out there.
