It pisses me off when i hear everyone just refer to it as England

What the different between these name?
England
United Kingdom
Great Britain
I always though all 3 are the same

I know there's a difference, But I remember what belongs in what about as well as I remember the states of America where I live.

U left out Isle of Man, Guernsey and Jersey.

Wrong. If the larger island is called Great Britain, then the small one should be called Little Britain. ;-)

Irish will insist it's Western Islands, not British Isles.

*all of us dumb Americans* ...This is no different than hearing someone from another country refer to the US as 'America'. Why does that make us dumb? Maybe we just don't care.

I like how only England, Wales and Scotland are Great Britain. Ireland is just part of the British Isles, as if they just went "Hey Scotland, Do you like Ireland? No? Good, What about you Wales? No? Good. Maybe if we work together we can make this part of the British Isles Great again. Just without Ireland".

Oh THAT's how it's broken down. They should print this picture in our passports.
