Some of the best experiences I've had were on travels. I've walked on glaciers, driven 3000m high mountain passes, went white water rafting, been in several kilometers deep caves, seen countless medieval castles, walked on the D-day landing beaches, trekked through the Scandinavian wilderness, etc. etc. etc.
