eh, I don't think science went to far with this. Some people want to go out on their own terms, like people with ALS. Anyway, before using the machine there are a bunch of psychological tests and stuff.

It's for people over 70, with no psychological issues who just want to go out on their own terms. People with life-ending diseases that will be expensive to treat and cause them a massive amount of pain.
