While I actually agree with this, I’m getting a bit tired of these posts. I come to this site for goofy memes and such to make myself laugh. I don’t browse this site for political and ethical debates...
I think we should have different sections... Funsubstance overall, but then just a substance section where we can put all these kinds of posts. Chat doesn't work as well as the comment sections.

A multi billion dollar industry is not going to get locked up. Right now a majority of the protesters and online anti-gun lobbyists talk about semi-automatic weapons being the problem. Virtually all modern, commercially available weapons are semi-automatic. Many shooters have mental health issues. An overwhelming majority of those with mental health issues never shoot people. There is an inherent misunderstanding of weapons and the causation vs. correlation of the mindset and mental proclivity of shooters.
I'm sure it has (not sarcastic.) That's the thing about generalities and weasel words. We can almost always assume that somewhere something has happened at least once, if even for an instant. That's how you steer people's thought process. "Some of the protesters were satanic warlocks." Well- maybe. We can add "may have" or "are said to be" and similar if we really want to stretch it and are afraid of getting called out. Of course- I also can't say that because in my travels I haven't seen it doesn't mean that the entire state of New Jersey or Mississippi aren't on tide pod lock down. Just in my little corner of life that hasn't come up.
only like 20 people died from eating tide pods after that shit went viral. If you are THAT stupid to be one of those 20 people, you deserve it.

What an excellent point. Starting tomorrow guns for sale must be kept behind locked cases until a customer asks to buy it. Children will no longer be legally able to purchase guns without parental consent... what a freaking nob. These are getting rea annoying- but for the last time- STOP VAGUELY BITCHING ABOUT GUN CONTROL UNLESS YOU HAVE SOME KIND OF ACTUAL ACTIONABLE SOLUTION THAT WOULD RESTRICT GUN ACCESS TO CRIMINALS. Guns kill people, that is a product feature. They are dangerous by design. They need to be controlled, but "treat them like tide pods"? That's insulting to everyone that someone actually took time to write this, and thought an intelligent human would read it and go "yeah... guns... tide pods... makes sense!"
But having tide pods isn't a constitutional right, not saying this justifies anything, just that it makes it a million times more complicated. Also the NRA exists so there probably won't be any changes anytime soon
