Had a buddy do this. He recessed his tv into the wall in his living room so he can have more room. But the major problem is the back of it is now taking up almost half of his daughters closet & her room is about 5-10 degrees hotter than the rest of the house cause the heat from the tv builds up in her closet an seeps into her room. Thus warming it up.
