Youtube ads are getting ridiculous there is way too many ads in some videos (i know this isn't entirely the fault of yt it's also the content creator for adding them) i usually use adblock and support through different methods if possible

Then don't use youtube ? Pay for youtube red ? Servers and stuff cost money. Money comes from ads if youre not paying.

peoples time and effort that goes into the youtube videos (which is now their life and way of paying rent) cost money as well.

What about when YouTube didn't have ads though. Did no one make money? Let's go back then

then we would have none of the current youtubers. They would all have to get normal jobs. That version of youtube was basically just another social media site rather than an entertainment business.

On top of that, Youtube servers are massive, I mean a good 5-6 football fields massive. These servers take maintenance, upkeep, and a whole lot more. If ads and revenue just stopped, so would these servers, and no more youtube.

Have you guys ever gotten a YouTube ad on YouTube? I'm talking about an ad that is about YouTube. It's hella stupid. Like what do you even want me to do? I'm on YouTube right now
