@cakelover What? Me? No! Never! *cries*
@dr_richard _ew You definitely enjoyed it :) Now that'll be a hundred dollars.
@bethorien Why are you crying? :'(
@funkmasterrex Let the man dream lol
Mate I didn't mean to make you cry
I was just thinking that you are a small beacon of sweetness and innocence on this dark thing called the internet, and you losing your innocence is as tragic as it is inevitable
It might be the stress, starvation, and sleep deprivation talking, but Chili Mac MREs are the best. I usually get sour skittles in mine, and once I got two Raspberry energy bars in one package. That was the happiest day of my military career. I would kill for Chili Mac in the field.
What are Rat Packs? Are you in the British military or did you get it from a surplus place?
I was a cadet through my teenage years and I was one of the ones who took it a bit more seriously
I loved the food as well, although everyone else was quite fussy which meant I benefitted...
The "rat packs" are MOD-issued 24hr ration packs, we got given them on exes and I'd sometimes buy them off ebay for a tenner or so
Here's a link of an example

Before joining the Army I was in a police cadet program. We did cool things, but never got to try new foods.
Those look a lot like the 24-hour rations some of my sergeants say they'd never eat again, even if that meant hunting, foraging, or trusting local Afghani cuisine. Then again, their experiences are a good decade out of date.

...what a bargain!
@cakelover How did what I said interpret into me losing my innocence? :(
@dr_richard_ew *sighs* Well you gotta pay.
@cakelover I made that joke after brainstorming for a few minutes and I said it because I thought it was cheesy and funny
I've only had the British "rat packs" before
