I cant take it anymore, I can understand changing a character that makes no difference if it is one race or another. Like the sea witch or the girl human version of the sea witch or the butler to a female or Scully a female or flounder but come on Ariel is a red head.
I know I sound racist and people might down vote me. It is just I grew up with Aladdin Beauty and the beast and little mermaid and they changing it so much I just cant take it. It is like seeing your childhood being stomped on.
I completely agree with you @mrscollector I have no problem with there being SOCs (Sirens of Colour)in the film at all but The Little Mermaid is based near Copenhagen and Ariel is a white red head... why fix it if it isn't broken?
