Years ago, an old college friend called me up and said we should grab dinner and catch-up, I agree.... As the evening winds down, he says to me "have you thought about your insurance coverage?"... suffice to say, we didn't hangout much afterwards.
actually it was my old teacher from university, she even went as far as telling me that she would lend me a thousand bucks to invest.

Honestly, it's not a bad tactic even if you don't sell insurance. You can use it defensively.
