Honestly I always found that demographic questions at school confused me, I didn't consider myself any race other than Hispanic, i thought hispanic WAS a race. I learned some more and I was told to write white if i didn't look black or asian and that i couldn't write native american becuase i didn't have a tribe affiliation. So i write white hispanic, its the closest description i can get, but it does ignore my aztec or mayan ancestors who i believe deserve as much of a place in the description of my race as my spanish ancestors, they contributed to my culture and to my language.

In most parts of Europe it's illegal to register "race".
