Not quite, unless I'm mistaken it's a Tempescope. It's the same idea, but it doesn't respond to climate conditions directly. Instead it receives a forecast from an app on your phone via bluetooth.

I live in Iowa. It would have to be able to show multiple things at once to forecast a whole day
