You close out then double tap and the mini player shows up at the bottom, you push play and it plays while you're multitasking!

Im sorry to break it to you but that doesn't work I've tested it before. I know that you can do that with your regular music and itube but when you try to do that with the youtube app it's instantly changes it back to your regular music when you double click.

Doesn't it work? When I turn the screen off while Youtube is still on, I just double tap and that's it. It plays.

Use Spotify, its free (occasional ad unless you pay) and it works when you shut off the screen, or even go to another app
