That being said, I think that few women have any idea how scary it can be to approach them to ask them out/for a dance
I love how 4 is "accept anyone" and 5 is "know your standards"...
I mean if someone works up the courage and isn't scary or aggressive I'm going to find it touching and say yes 98% of the time, but the remaining 2 are never gonna get that dance.
In other words this says “Dress by our standards, don’t say no to men, look pretty for men, don’t talk to your friends too much or men will feel left out/not interested, but remember to have standards” I’d rather never go to a dance thanks. I’m not your Barbie doll
So pretty much “don’t make boys uncomfortable bc you want to talk to your friends and dress how you want, but suck it up if you’re made uncomfortable by said boys.” Sounds like a double standard there
