I worked at a pizza place where some JROTC kid was marching around in the waiting area for some reason and an old lady walked in thinking he was actually in the military and insisted on buying him food. I didn't swipe her card because I couldn't do that to her. I had the kid pay for his food after she left

The JROTC kids that took themselves too seriously at my school never seemed to be able to get into the military but the more chilled ones went on to military academies and the navy

I was in JROTC all my middle school time but when I tried signing up when I turned 20, I was denied due to medical reasons. I was pretty crushed since my entire family has been in the military one way or another.
