She made speeches using "MeToo" as a platform, posted pictured, gave interviews, and slandered him all up and down the media. As a result of this, Johnny Depp's child has been bullied, he's lost "friends," was fired by Disney and the PotC franchise as well as other companies, and he was basically turned into a social Pariah
Johnny Depp supposedly asked repeatedly for them to settle things in private. They both say the other person refused to actually do so. Whatever the case, Johnny has since released video footage, photographic evidence, and some testimony that reveals Amber is the farthest thing from a victim out there.

-likely used makeup to fake or exaggerate her injuries

-actively mocked Johnny Depp for trying to de-escalate the situation and avoid physical violence [during an incident where he tried to call for outside assistance to stop an altercation getting physical, Heard more or less called him a baby for needing someone to defend him, and told him to go jack the third party off]

-Deliberately tried to provoke him TO violence (while he was in mourning iirc) specifically so she could record it

-attacked him physically, causing damage at least equal to her own
-thrown MANY objects at him. He claims one of these things was a bottle that shattered and severed the tip of his finger [his finger-tip IS, indeed, severed, but Heard claims he did this to himself]

-Engaged in some of the boldest gaslighting I've seen in awhile
