I do this to all the mail we get because all the mail is in my name because my husband has the exact same name as his grandfather so we always put everything in my name because we used to live with his grandfather and anything saying their name even if it also had my name he would open it.
Lol so now I open everything.

I got a credit card mailed to me by the bank (I don’t often get mail) seberal weeks ago and my mother opened it, then proceeded to keep it and ask me only recently what I wanted to do with it
My parents would open my mail while I was at uni: most recently an insurance bill that finally came through after 8 months. They didn’t tell me. I had to hunt down bills that went to collection agencies, because they “forgot.”
Lol so now I open everything.
