Hm. Looks a bit too elongated and the eye cavities are a bit too small. I think it might be a racoon skull.
(i recently sculpted a cat skull, so I had to look at a bunch of reference pictures)

You're right, foolish mistake on my part, I looked at it too quickly. The canines are also much too big to be a cat's.

Honestly it reminded me of a mini wolf skull :D
