The point of the piece (I believe) is to point out how absurd and hurtful these types of comments are. And there are a lot of people saying these sorts of things to people who may be transitioning.
So, I don’t believe this is really how people feel and think. It’s sorta Just pointing out how wrong this way of thinking is.
it is, its making fun of how cis (non trans) people make comments to trans people. its saying "imagine how you, a non trans person, would feel if people talked or thought of you like this."
Quick question, when was the last time a cis person seriously got asked about their genitals or surgery? Or had to come out as cis? This is very obviously a caricature based on inversion.
How sad, and insulting.
