Did you get hit with power outages and water pipe breaks where you're at? I handle utility bills for people, so I know a lot of people are getting slammed with high bills due to flex rates... I hope you were able to keep warm!
Yes. I didn't know it but the pipes on my pool, the one fucking place I forgot to wrap up for safety.. had the fucking plastic freeze, thaw, then explode. It's going to be roughly 10k to fix it.
My fury about that is indescribable.
Jk, the utilities even told the federal government they can go fuck themselves during the hearing. I watched it, it was seriously messed up.

I imagine the utility companies are going to get a lot of lawsuits over this. They were told to take precautions years ago and chose not to. I'll be interested in seeing how this all plays out.
