The US chain Sushi King has something called a Crazy Monkey Roll that is fried banana, crabmeat, and mayonnaise. It’s fantastic.

Places near me (and probably everywhere) have a few different kind of deep fried sushi, seems very Americanized but damn is it good.

Apart from the fish, crab or avocado and the weird kelp on the outside I think the rice is a bit meh.
