Lol. Certainly I’d say that the modern predilection for fast diagnosis and prescriptions is problematic. That said, prescribing drugs for a problem stemming from drugs isn’t necessarily illogical. If we look at many eating disorders part of tue treatment is often to “prescribe food,” just generally perhaps different foods and different dosages and timing or administration. Much like the saying “to fight fire with fire,” fire is often used to either mitigate fire risk by burning off easily combusted built up debris or to create fire breaks or otherwise strategically rob one fire of fuel or oxygen. The context is to compare that which is out of control or that which is causing more harmful destruction and bring control or redirect the harm to make things more manageable.
