Partly true. The Homeless are not a homogeneous block. It depends where you are and the cost of housing. There can be plenty of hard working people who can't afford apartments where they work. There are pictures and video's of large numbers of camping trailers and motor homes parked along highways and other places, and these people have money but not enough for rent. There are also drug addicts and people with mental problems (some are both) who will cause damage to everyone else. Many small landlords can be put out of business because one bad renter has totaled the house, the the landlord has the expense or repair as well and still having to pay property taxes.
