I would be smiling too. I don't understand why she got arrested, he hurt her sons and she got him back for hurting them. I mean, at least she didn't kill him.
Ugh. She probably is being charged under some vigilante statute. However, as the mother, she should be able to justify her actions with the right attorney. Hope she gets off with probation or better yet, acquitted.
But the thing is, a jury's job is to convict someone if beyond a reasonable doubt they committed the crime. She could still very much be convicted and put in prison.
Stop shaming victims, you can't possibly ever blame the sons for being near a molester or the mom for not watching her sons 24/7 (no parent does) blame the molester, 1st guest.
