I have never understood this. A lot of the guys at my school draw penises on every single thing.

It's one of those things that are everywhere, right? I work in a public office, and I can tell you there is still graffiti of penises everywhere, so it's not an age thing. The mystery of men....

I'm 18 and I still draw penises everywhere and I don't know why. :/ Can't explain that.

I don't think drawing penises makes you gay, lol- it's definitely something all kids do. And some men, I think it's interesting that it's such a universal thing. I like how guys have no reason why they do it the same way girls have no idea- it's just a non internet meme, kind of

Why do guys do this? They make fun of the gay kids in the class, yet they draw a penis wherever they can. How is it funny? Am I just dense or too mature to understand?

Boys draw penises all over everything because it's an easy and immature way of being "funny" because they're still legitimately immature themselves. It's used mainly to cause embarrassment to other people because it's other people's stuff that gets drawn on. Most guys grow out of it but the trope that dicks are funny is pretty solid ... Cracked.com prides itself on "dick jokes" for example. The vagina on the other hand is quite hard to draw and so the nearest equivalent to drawing a dick is drawing a pair of boobies.

There was a study released this week that found that girls brains develop more quickly and become more efficient and streamlined by the age of about 10, while boys on average had to wait until 20. The way they described it was being at a noisy party at first, and then gradually people disappear until you can only hear the person you are talking to (this is just a metaphor by the way). This means girls thoughts are less random and distracted which makes them more efficient thinkers before boys, however it also makes them less imaginative and creative. In boys, the constant barrage of thoughts from all directions continues ten years longer, meaning they will experiment for longer, and get distracted quicker. The result is that boys can quite easily go from being completely immature one second, to being top of their class the next because they still have neural networks that haven't yet been pruned away like girls have. So in a very real sense, girls have no idea how boys brains work
