Oh, bummer, no in-depth historical information and background analysis on a complex matter in a tweet?

What was invented in 1835 was the silver-coated glass mirror we know today. The first man-made mirrors from obsidian (natural volcanic glass) can be dated back to 8000 years ago.

I'm still embarrassed for when I thought all those Kids digged that old Joy Division album "Unknown Pleasures" only to find out they just liked the cover design...

My point exactly.

First of all, the comparison is technically correct, as much as it's technically correct to compare a dinghy to an aircraft carrier. They're bpth boats. Also, something bad isn't made any better because other bad things happened as well. But I don't think this is a great place discussing this in detail.
.
What's more important here I think: I have never actually heard any real person in real life saying White Europeans have exclusively been doing anything bad, except in strawman arguments. Exactly as presented right here: DeGrasse Tyson speaks of European history specifically, not ALL history generally. It's sort of sad seeing a bright mind like Dennis Wingo come up with such weak crap.

If that's your default strategy to cope with overwhelming stuff, watch out, that could be a major symptom of depression. Not the Instagram weltschmerz sort, the real bad one, that kills people.

I linked to follow-ups citing this study from Jan 2022. Maybe look for someone to explain to you how this science stuff works instead of building one straw-man after the other.
.
"He was within his rights to try it"? Yes, so are you. As well as doing so within your limitations. Hilarity ensues...

This is from Jan 2021 which in pandemic years is 1955. And have you considered a follow up? No? Let me help you: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7539925/citedby/ - enjoy! - Summary? "Yah, probably not, no proof" - which is reflected in the wiki article.
.
So in quintessence: believing it might be helpful a year ago? Yeah, why not. Still doing so in January 2022? Lol!
.
And what about "the media"? What do you call the sources of "your" information? That's media as well. Just usually the shitty sort. Be better. Or don't and drop that stuff instead of getting vaxxed.

"General purpose medication"? Nope. Nope. Nope.
.
"Ivermectin is an antiparasitic medication used to treat infestations in humans include head lice, scabies, river blindness (onchocerciasis), strongyloidiasis, trichuriasis, ascariasis and lymphatic filariasis. In veterinary medicine, it is used to prevent and treat heartworm and acariasis, among other indications. It works through many mechanisms to kill the targeted parasites and can be taken orally, or applied to the skin for external infestations"
.
As someone put it: y'all are fucking delusional to consider that stuff a cure for virus infections.
.
"Subsequent research failed to confirm the utility of ivermectin for COVID-19 and in 2021 it emerged that much of the research finding benefit was faulty, misleading, or fraudulent"

Just because they probably don't like it doesn't mean they're offended. The Italians I know just don't eat what they don't know.

btw. funny how the meme seems to differ between "whites" and Italians.

Most people will survive Covid even if they "cured" it with Joe Rogan's urine. I'm not even gonna ask what your point is.

Little late for that. Wikipedia says "auto-urine therapy as a system of alternative medicine was popularized by British naturopath John W. Armstrong in the early 20th century". The idea sort of had a renaissance in the early 1990, at least in Germany where sports journalist Carmen Thomas wrote a super successful book about the benefits of human urine, incl. as therapy against all sorts of health problems. Now that I mention this... isn't Germany kind of famous for certain porn genres relating to body fluids and excrements? Asking for a friend...

Often, uncomfortable benches are designed to keep homeless people off sleeping on them and generally poor people spending a lot of time there, gathering and drinking. I could imagine those benches are fine to sit on during lunch break or eating an ice cream but not for sitting a couple hours, and mostly impossible to sleep on. Keeping poor people out of sight is something city planners care about a lot.
