One of the developers really wanted to make this game, and he got money for it from a successful Kickstarter campaign. Then, the two people he was working with, who were his best friends, stole and spent all of the money on alcohol and strippers, among other things. He cut them out of the project, but then they threatened to sue if he continued making the game without them since they had partial legal rights to it as well. It's a tragic story, and now people like you are making fun of him just because he was making a game with a somewhat strange premise.
