Now I don't know the most accurate of years but the term baby boomers were in relation to the 60's hippie movement/period. Regardless, age doesn't stop people from reproducing. My father is currently 69 going on 70 and my mother is 59. I'm 25 years old, I have 3 older step sisters who are in their mid/late 40s. My younger brother is 21. The word millennial is used to simplify the comparing between "old people to young people" in the media. The term gets abused for the worst types of comparison that fall short of what the intention is meant to demonstrate between the two. I personally despise the word millennial as most of the time it is used more as an insult or to be demoralizing against the youth.
