Yeah and I’ve seen several of these men beat their loving wives and the aftermath of one specifically who raped his two daughters and beat his son nearly to death and then went on to sexually assault the kids he was in charge of at the local school. Sure some ppl may be nice, but I’ve never seen one. I’m sure as hell never going to respect a man who continues to cut his hair that way even after leaving the military but I respect your right to do so

They do this to honor the women who rised above the limits and expectations of their times (Think Marie Curie) and they also do this bc some dicks still think women should “learn their place” and seeing this inspires girls to dream louder than those dicks’ voices. You can be excited and appreciate of men but you also need to think about how women were considered property long after slavery ended
