One day in dance class, my teacher said it was time for pirouettes. I was just a kid at the time. I was excited to be learning them. The teacher gave us the basic steps, and then told us to start. I remember I turned counterclockwise and was so proud of myself until I hear laughter. I looked up, horrified. "SHE'S A LESBIAN! EWWW." I remember thoughts racing through my head: What's a lesbian? Why are they doing this?
Long story short, that's how I discovered I'm a lesbian.
