i remember and i was born in 1998 (i assume i count as a "kid these days"), im in a poor family, we didnt get a dvd player until 2006 so all we had was vhs. also i still have a lot of movies on vhs.

just to follow this up, this is the number of attempts it took paragon (a high end raiding guild in world of warcraft) to defeat each boss in the most recent raid (as of posting this comment) on their hardest difficulty.
