Some of those just think they became "parents" when they actually have no authority and make bad choices/ abuse. My older brothers job was to protect me from my older sister.

They could knock you out until the pain wears off assuming you don't pass out on your own but its not perfect. (as someone who has been there for other reasons, meds have limits :( ps. as much as it is human nature to touch the thing, there are many other cool things to touch!

The biggest issue I think is is skin tone. He either got skincare products, a spraytan, some medical issue, makeup, or something because there is no color variation. No red around his nose, change under the eyes, no flushed cheeks or forehead.

I assure, if someone was under a car, people would stop and help. Exceptions being mechanics at work ofc

You don't know his home life, amount of sleep, random spike in hormones ect. When you don't sleep you lose your grasp/control on "fully presentable" emotions. TLDR: EVERYBODY HURTS SOMETIMES

While this post makes a very good point, I have learned that there are degrees of severity. Sometimes there are good days, but that doesn't mean your bad days are suddenly lies or invalid. It also doesn't mean the mild side is faking, mental and physical diseases present differently in everyone. If you do plan on incorporating a disease please research. Don't romanticize it as a positive, but the people can still (despite not because) be beautiful, even if they are in a dark place. They work very hard for their good days. In other words, if you're going to write an illness they aren't fictional and need good representation.

I thought the purpose of "it is what it is" is saying its not what you wished for so now ya gotta deal. Never that you stopped wishing the first wish had come to fruition.
