Though this actually seems to be real, it's not recommended to burn away your top skin layers (also we're not talking about first layer only, because if done correctly, the ink lies between the third and fourth layer I think), because if you're not super precise, it'd simply burn away your tattoo. Apart from the obvious part of causing yourself injuries. BUT it's a very interestinh topic and might find use in future (professional) tattoo renewal techniques.
