Completely agree on the movies, I managed to make myself watch the first 4 then had to give up because they are so terrible and miss out loads of great storylines in favour of what is now crap CGI broom flying

Yes, if I remember rightly something happened that made her age backwards so eventually she just disappeared. I think they then accidentally made her really ancient before sorting her out again. I'll have a look tomorrow, it was a very strange book and I enjoyed it but I was quite an odd child
