I had to make the calculations once, and I found that braille books sold on average for 16 cents a page, while regular print books only sold for 2 cents a page. Meaning that a braille book can easily cost up to 8 times more than a regularly printed book.

Some professors have "Clicker Questions" every couple of slides during their lectures, often they only count participation, not the actual answer, so it's not really a test.

I watched a Winnie the Pooh movie so many times on VHS as a kid, most of the tape is now static. After that it was the Lion King 1 and 2 that got watched every day for a couple of weeks.

No, this is the scene where they are interogating an orc, which is what they are looking at at the bottom of the cut off frame.

I'm rather certain that this is from a series called Japanologie. There are many episodes available on Youtube.

This won't work, because if your email address isn't active (sending email or opening email, not just receiving it) then it will get deactivated after a couple of years.

@aussiecarrot Most Deaf people do have the ability to speak, they just chose not to or haven't learned how. They learn by feeling the vibrations of a speaker's throat and mimicking those same vibrations.
As for the use of "dumb", we no longer use the word to refer to being mute for the same reasons we no longer call someone with a mental disability a "retard".

Helen Keller had the ability to speak, and in fact learned to do so later in life.

You can buy a pillow with a built in cooling gel pad, that way you're always on the cool side of the pillow.

Amnesia shouldn't affect the language part of the brain. An amnesiac would still know how to speak what ever language they spoke before getting amnesia.

What I love about this sign is that informs and gives alternatives instead of just saying "Do not"
