When you go to sleep your brain paralyzes your whole body so you don't act out your dreams. Rarely but it will happen, its happened to my mom she was welling at me to help her and to wake her up but I couldn't itwas tterrifying. Anyway, you can wake up while your body is still paralyzed and your brain is still partially dreaming and you can usually see terrifying yhings. Different cultures have different names for them based on what is usually experienced. This one is like th hag or something, sufferes will report seeing a small creature sitting on their chest staring at them. In america its usually alien abductions.
