Personally I find Clara a mary-sue.
She's smart, she's pretty, she's a love interest, she's alien, she's the "impossible girl" she's some kind of messiah. Honestly she is just overused.
"I was born to save the Doctor" But like, where were you when Gallifrey burned? Where were you when the Daleks returned all those times? Where were you during the Cyber Invasion? Where were you when the Master came?
She's not a good character. She's a love interest to a married man.
Clara overstayed her welcome from season 8 to season 9, she threatened to destroy all the TARDIS keys because she couldn't get her boyfriend back, she was only intelligent when it was convenient to the plot.

Not really true. Over 85% of the fandom is against furry porn and clopping. Its just the weird as minimum that sets the tone for everyone else.
