Folks still have a sore spot for all the smack that gets thrown at the millennials. It will get better when the next youngest generation meets majority. Then they get to be the target. :)

Okay. I see where you’re coming from, but keep in mind that not all Christians believe in biblical endtimes as such. So the argument doesn’t have to be an attack against Christianity. And for many people it is not.
Part of the communication difficulties come from trying to translate the terms and distill the ideas. So for example, it started as “global warming” because the climate (climate not weather, these are distinct) trend is overall warming. But that phrase didn’t help people understand because people said, “warming?! But it’s cold outside now.” To make the language more accessible the term was updated to “climate change.” It’s not that the information has changed, it’s that the communication has.
And just like any group of Christians cannot control the messaging of all groups, neither can any group of scientists. I mean that to say, that sometimes people spew nonsense in the name of science just as they do in the name of religion, love, any other passion.

Take heart @honeybumblebee the millennials are going to save the world. :)
The older generation has been disparaging the younger generation for as long as people have been having kids.

Baby boomers were born between 1943-1965. They are called baby boomers because they were born after the war during an economic baby boom.
Generations are separated into peer cohorts based on shared experiences and cultural shifts. So, yes, many of the boomers cane of age in the sixties (shared experiences) that’s not where they got their name.
We have been using the baby boomers as a generational categorization since before we had a name for millennials (so it really isn’t just to separate the two).

The called millennials because they came of age during that time.
I see where the confusion comes from, but millennials are born from 1980-1995.
There’s a lot of literature regarding the topic so you don’t have to take my word for it.

I haven’t accused Christians of anything, let’s start with that. And I firmly believe there is plenty of room for science and Christianity in the same body.
I am suggesting that just because it seems like the scientists are guessing at the trajectory based on past data with flawed accounting for variables, doesn’t mean there’s not more to it.
And to your point, they can’t point to exactly where on the dart board his dart will land (and largely they aren’t claiming to) but they can in fact accurately report that if he throws the dart, it will (without intervention) leave his hand. And that’s what we are looking at here. Climate change is happening. It’s is a thrown dart in motion. The dart has left the players hand.

Predominantly, boomers are their parents. Some of the older gen xers are parents to millennials but most are siblings. Gen Xers are 40-55 years old right now, while millennials are 25-40 years old.
So, clearly a 25 year old person could easily have a 50-55 year old parent, it’s not the majority of the cohort.
When studying market trends, we look at millennials and boomers together because millennials have what we call a boomerang effect on their parents (the boomers).
The boomers were previously the largest purchasing cohort, until the majority of their children came into purchasing power.

Also: who raised the millennials? People learn that stuff from their parents...

That’s like saying just because you jump off a building doesn’t mean you’re going to hit the ground. Without a major intervention you will hit the ground. Yes, until it happens it is not a fact, but unless you can see Spider-Man swooping in, it’s a pretty good bet the jumper will hit the ground.

What? Are you talking about the scientists that have copious data that unequivocally proves that a major climate change is occurring?

Actually, studies suggest that (generally) women have more (like a lot more) stamina and endurance than men. Men have a tendency to be stronger and capable of more intense bursts of energy, while women can maintain a consistent pace and level of exertion.

No. USA has pretty awful time off standards.
For most organizations Sunday is just another work day. Now, if you are paid hourly, or if you are salaried-non-exempt (typically meaning salary less than $40k annually or in a position that is not unique within the organization) that you will get paid time and a half for any hours over 40. So for those folks, if Sunday is “overtime” they will get time and a half.
