Sometimes I am proud of my country. But unfortunately the circumstances for this pride to exist are not at all great. I wish it were safer.. it's such a beautiful country and so full of culture

Yeah and just in case someone doesn't further understand the subtleties of the joke: it is showing how in the beginning the people building the tower of Babel could communicate easily, this is shown in Gru's confidence and the fact that the text is in english which most users of this meme site can read. Its then shows how people can't understand each other anymore due to the sad and perplexed [confused] face that Gru has as well as the text now being in Greek which [based off of assumptions] most users of this meme site cannot understand.
