A wrist strap with a barcode is put on each newborn before they leave the delivery room. The parents both get one too. Any time the baby is brought to or taken from the parents both straps are scanned to confirm that the parents match the child.

I just took it back up recently after a 4 year hiatus. The game has gotten much better and it’s a great game to play during lockdown.
