Actually, cocaine comes from the leaves of the coca tree, which is not the same thing as the cacao tree from which we get chocolate.

My point was that the title, as it is now, doesn't make much sense, or atleast it's not informational like it seems like it's trying to be. This is like saying, A painting done with paint.

I'm confused by the mention of Lagrangian formalism in the title. It gives the same differential equations as Newtonian or Hamiltonian mechanics. It's a way to get the equations of motions, not a particular kind of motion. Why is it mentioned specifically here?

Don't know why you're being downvoted. Thank you for saying this. More people need to think about what's actually the pleasant situation.

I meant that in the year 1500 BC, the polity that this person belonged to was Elam (not modern ethnicity Elamite). Elam was the name of the name of the area before its Persian conquest. This artifact is Elamite, not Persian, not Iranian. Just as an old Navajo artifact isn't a piece of US history.

I think what guest meant was that this didn't happen in Iran. It happened in Elam. Iran is a modern name for a modern country. The person who carved this was not Iranian. I think guest has a valid point- I mean you wouldn't say that events in pre-Columbus Native American history happened in the USA.

How do know they aren't? Also, their skill doesn't obligate them to work in a profession. Their joy at doing this is also important, and we all enjoyed looking at it.
